I have an interview at RMIT on Thursday for my course.. NEED TO READ UP ON THAT : D

I'm a bitch! : D

I have been stressing about this thing for weeks now, and all I have is last-minute scribbles that I've JUST thrown together. FFFFFF

Basically, I'm hoping that breasts will get me through this and into an interview process! Especially as I'm only including 9 images, when there's a possible 12. ALSO, I can't scan any of my A3 FOLIO WORK BECAUSE IT'S TOO BIIIIIIG GRAUGH.

Anyway, I've been working all week and have been keeping an actual diary. It's weird, but might prove useful to keeping my over-eating at bay. Working in a bakery is killer for my 'no crap food' regiment. : P


ALSO, I want to make my spongebog mood icons work. ; A;

I hate when you sit and stare at your reference picture, then stare at your materials, and then stare at the ref again... In some horrible cycle D: I've got enough materials for THREE cosplays yet I've made about 10% of what I need to by next Thursday - let alone the bloody Tifa I need to pull out my butt for Sunday. The gloves don't even have thumbs because I have no idea how to make bloody thuuuumbs - viynl seemed like a smart idea before I realized how hard it was to work with D<

*mumbles off into distance to keep making armour*

And the BEST PART?

I also finish year 12 on that day! So, basically, after that (and exams :l) I WILL BE A FUNCTIONING MEMBER OF SOCIETY.

I had a fun day, out in the city and flopping around like a crazy person with Aly. She's such an epic elitist omggggggg she's soooooo vogan. Total lies but still haha suuch a fun day of crazy sleeping on benches, over-priced drinks, springrolls and wigs! Oh, and materials... Damn that $100 pleather!!! So sexy but so expensiiive! D:

Well, whatever, gonna go watch my Macross and cleaaaaan.

I liked them, they didn't like me.

It seems I finally finished my media SAT for the year. I can't be bothered getting in to huge details, but basically; I aimed to recreate the typical american comic throughout the 20/21st century. From the 1930s to now, I've... drawn eight comic covers... OTL.




Now to go apply for animation courses in uni!! : D

I got $8 op-shop boots!!!! The look kinda like that picture... but different. OH WELL.

What should have cost upwards of $150 only cost $8 SQUEE... there a size 8 though and I'm only a size.... 10? 9? xDDD So picture Jen from IT crowd, and that's exactly what happened. Exactly.

I'm currently on a high - I know I'm almost done with year twelve, I'm in a good mood and school isn't getting me down for once... I'm applying for unis and looking over the 'kits' that you have to fill out... it's amazing the stuff I'll get to do, and the fact it feels right. It's nice to know something so big in my life is actually going alright for once...

Once I finish school, I'm gonna start working on my Ls and get a liscense to serve alcohol at pubs and clubs... it'd be so much fun to work with people in a setting like that; I love working with the public and making people happy, so it just adds to the feeling of 'rightness' xD

Anywho, I need to go get the flour out of my eyeballs and clean up the booze from last night. Such fun, such fun~ C:

It has consumed me - for now. I don't know, currently struggling with a 'style' as per my usual art block woes... so I've been trying a bit of anime. It's reminding me what it's like to start drawing and re-teaching me the beauty of detail, structural lines and otherwise... It's also forcing me to consider hairstyles, faces and proportions more than I did before. With that said, I'm not gonna start churning out heaps of generic anime characters with alternate hairstyles and eyes, but... eh. It's fun, so I'm gonna draw whatever makes me happy.

Even if it's blatantly referenced from other pictures.

... BAWWWWWWWWW. The colours are lovely together, the ones I bought. I loved them and they matched perfectly to the picture I printed off; but now I see a more natural and less saturated version of the outfit that I'd prefer to wear; not to mention the fact that the colour scheme I chose is only used ONCE in any art piece; so I'll look inaccurate, at least, I think will. D:

But, in the long and short of it, I feel that the colours I chose work together and actually look quite nice... and I certainly don't have enough money to rebuy the materials if I want a wig...

*sucks it up* STUPID COLOURS D:< Stupid me ;__;

IN OTHER NEWS, I'm booked in to go for my Learner's Permit FINALLY! So that's good; I have a little time left before I have to start holidays... and I'm cosplaying with Zander-panda xDD God he's so refreshing the silly bishie.

Need a new Sora wig, but that's irrelevant! D:
